For Immediate Release: Verdi's Rigoletto The Birmingham Chamber Orchestra's third opera production will take place in the third week of July. Enabled by funding from National Lottery Awards for All, the Orchestra will be joined an exciting cast of young professional singers for performances of Verdi's Rigoletto. The evening will be semi staged and sung in English. Martin Leigh, conductor of the Birmingham Chamber Orchestra said: 'We are looking forward to Rigoletto with great anticipation. Verdi's magnificent tale of love and loss is a masterpiece by any measure, and the chance to hear it performed live with such an accomplished cast will be an unforgettable experience for our audiences.' Performances take place in the Artrix Bromsgrove at 7.30 on Thursday 19 July; in St. James's Church, Wollaston at 7.30 on Saturday 21 July; and in St. John's and St. Peter's Church, Ladywood at 3.00 on Sunday 22 July.
